Just a stone’s throw from the coast of north-eastern Australia, you’ll find one of the wonders of our world. The Great Barrier Reef is the world’s largest coral reef system, stretching for over 2,300 kilometres. After two visits here during the Australian winter (June and July), this place has become my favourite spot in the whole wide world. Friendly whales, gorgeous beaches, exiting snorkling and an abundance of sunshine – pure paradise!
